岩手県盛岡市の幼保連携型認定こども園 ふたば幼稚園のカフェスペースをデザイン。幼稚園は岩手の山々と田園に囲まれ、とても自然豊かな場所にあり、保育室+CAFEという地域との連携や人とのつながりを大切にする新しい保育のかたちづくりに携わった。 親御さん同士、お子さんと、または地域の方とコミュニケーションがいろいろな形でとれるようなデザインになっている。

Kawamura Gakuen

Designed the café space for Futaba Kindergarten, a certified early childhood education center in Morioka, Iwate. Surrounded by mountains and farmland, the site embraces a rich natural setting. Contributed to a new model of childcare—classrooms with a café— valuing connection with the community and between people. The space supports many forms of communication, among parents, with children, and with local residents.
